Music Looks Like This

If you don’t know by now…Fat Beats NYC & LA are closing down FOR GOOD! A major part of hip hop history is about to no longer exist. I can’t even begin to imagine how most hip hop heads that spend (spent) 99% of their time and hard earned money there digging and networking must feel. See I JUST made my first visit to Fat Beats this past Summer. I know I know…I have my reasons. While I have always known of its existence I never found any reason to actually go upstairs. All my friends did and while I know this hurts others more than it does me…it still hurts.

All week they’ve been holding in-stores and tons of hip hop legends & fans have been stopping by to say goodbye. Above are photos of Eternia’s in-store on Tuesday, 9/2. Monday, 9/1 DJ Evil Dee & Mr. Walt stopped by along with some others. I wasn’t there too long. You can find those photos here [LINK].

I’ll be posting more photos throughout the weekend. In the meantime check out the website [LINK] for more info on in-store performance schedules and if you have nothing to do on Saturday….stop by and wish them a fare well…the doors are closing for good THAT DAY! It’s bound to be epic. Be a part of history and stop by!
